So glad I tried Mailbird!

Last week I was on the hunt for a new email client, my old one just wasnt cutting it anymore. I'd been using Thunderbird for years but decided to try Mailbird when I saw they had a promo code for a lifetime license on their site. It integrated with Todoist which is a huge plus for my workflow, and I'm really impressed with its features as an Email Productivity Suite. It handles my Microsoft Exchange account perfectly too. The discount made it a no-brainer compared to paying for several years of a subscription and feels like a real steal.

Good for managing accounts

I bought the Mailbird Lifetime License a few weeks ago and it's been a solid improvement for my workflow. Installation was straightforward after downloading from their site. I'm using it on Windows and it handles my three different email accounts without any issues. The unified inbox is great, saves me a lot of switching. I also linked up my Google Calendar which is super convenient. Delivery was instant since it's a digital key. Support was responsive when I had a question about moving my settings to a new PC; they got back to me within a day. Overall, the quality of the software feels really robust, and I haven't run into any crashes or bugs. It's definitely helping me keep track of things better.

My go-to email client

This isn't my first time getting Mailbird. I upgraded my Mailbird Personal to the Business version because I needed some of the advanced features. Just like before, the process was smooth. Their system for upgrades is pretty seamless, which is why I keep coming back. It's always been reliable for me, handles all my mail without a hitch. Consistency matters, and Mailbird delivers on that. Very happy with it.

Easy to set up

Got Mailbird Personal last week. Just wanted something to clean up my email situation. It was really easy to set up my accounts, and the interface is much nicer than my old client. Everything just works, which is what I wanted. No complaints, happy with it.

Solid, but minor hiccup

I got the Mailbird Lifetime License during a holiday sale. The core software is really good – the unified inbox is a huge plus, and I appreciate the dark mode. Setup was quick, and it imported my old emails without any major issues. Customer service was helpful when I asked about a specific app integration. My only minor gripe was that one of the app integrations I wanted wasn't immediately obvious how to enable, and I had to dig a bit in their knowledge base. It wasn't a deal-breaker, just a small point that could be clearer. Overall, it's a strong product for the price, definitely helps with productivity, but a slightly more intuitive app integration process would make it perfect.

Worth the investment

I was looking for a good deal on an email client and waited for a sale before grabbing the Mailbird Lifetime License. The discount made it really appealing compared to paying yearly subscriptions for other services. It felt like a smart long-term investment. I like that I don't have to worry about renewals. For the price I paid, considering all the features and integrations like Slack and Todoist, it feels like I got great value. I'm always looking to save money where I can, and this purchase definitely felt worth it for the functionality it provides.

is mailbird a one-time purchase or do you have to subscribe every year? the pricing page was a little confusing.

B Beth 2 months ago
You can choose! They have a yearly subscription option or a one-time purchase for a lifetime license. I went with the lifetime to avoid recurring fees.

C Cleo Marsh 2 months ago
Both. You can subscribe or buy it outright. Look for the lifetime license if you want to pay once.

Yes, it totally does. I use it for my work Exchange account and it's been pretty seamless.

I think so. Most email clients these days support Exchange without an issue, afaik.

hey, was thinking about getting the lifetime license but wondering if they ever do bigger discounts than 50%? like black friday special or something?

N Nina Ito 1 month ago
Yeah, Black Friday is usually when they have their best deals, especially for the lifetime one. I picked mine up then a couple years ago, pretty solid savings.

I've seen around 50% off as the highest usually. maybe 60% if you're super lucky, but 50 is pretty common for big sales.

how does mailbird compare to outlook? i'm currently using outlook but it feels so clunky sometimes.

N Noor 2 months ago
Mailbird is way snappier and has a much cleaner interface than Outlook, IMO. Plus all the integrations are super handy. Definitely worth the switch if you want something lighter.

I found Mailbird to be a lot faster. Outlook can be a resource hog. Give the free trial of Mailbird a shot, you might like it.

Yep, they added Mac support not too long ago. Used to be Windows-only but not anymore.
